About Us

In 2015 we set out with a vision of bringing a singular focus to building great professional audio systems.  With a keen eye on the problem areas MTD Designs worked with its clients to develop new core technologies resulting in some of the highest energy density systems produced today.

During those early years we also took on the structural rigging aspect of large concert arrays and clusters for our clients.  Building on a decade of structural experience we incorporated FEA and many new development tools.  We are proud to offer topology and designs studies optimization along with other development options.  With the use of FEA tools we found reduced development schedules while producing some of the lightest structural rigging frames in the industry.

In 2018 the seeds were sow for a new project that we are proud to announce, the IAC421 CCA.  This new array product focuses on a full range immersive field for an artist to perform in.  Originally conceived for guitarist using modelers this system has a wide application for other instruments as well.

With the realities of a COVID-19 making a devastating impact on the entertainment and events business we are branching out and looking to make lasting relationships with new clients.   Let us focus our experience on your products.
